Prayer for the Week: Our Father/The Lord's Prayer
Today's Goals:
- Session 1 - God Creates the World, text pages 1-8
- Supplemental Video: The Gospel Project for Kids Bible Story Video, Creation (4:26) (did not watch during class) - This is the first Bible Story video from The Gospel Project for Kids, focusing on the story of Creation
- Explore Art Print - Worksheet: God the Creator
- Session 2 - Our Father in Heaven
- Supplemental Video: The Lord's Prayer song for kids - The Our Father (2:13) (did not watch during class) - The Our Father: a sung version of the Lord’s Prayer with lyrics.
- Worksheet: Gifts from God
- Adoration and Confession will be held tonight from 5:45 to 6:15, this is open to all.
- Altar Server Training for all new and returning Servers will be held in the Church next Sunday, September 30 from 5-6. As your children are have recently received the sacrament of First Holy Communion, they are now eligible to become Altar Servers. Please discuss this commitment with them and if they feel the call, make sure they are at this training session.
- The annual Saint Fair will take place this year on Sunday,October 28, however it will be in a different format. It will be during mass (8 am or 10:30 TBA) and each child will dress and present on a saint of their own choosing. Please take the time at home with your child to begin researching.
- Please note that I will be out of state on vacation that week and a substitute will be with them for this class.
- Please be sure that your child's folder comes back to class!
- Remember to always check the bulletin for important general Faith Formation and OLQA announcements/reminders.
